Using CAST 128, a 128-bit ECB encryption mode, data is encrypted at the source; encryption is then transferred across the network to the storage device. VaultDR: VaultDR provides integrated technology that is capable of recovering the entire disk, including the operating system, application and system settings, partition information and data for fast recoveries. Open File Protection : NetVault: Backup’s Open File Protection solidifies a company’s storage management strategy, providing the ability to successfully capture files that are open and in use and include them in a backup. NDMP Plugin Module: The NDMP Plugin Module simplifies control of NAS environments with a common backup and restore solution that provides centralized management via an interactive GUI. Media Management (Vaulting): NetVault: Backup’s media management solution provides a comprehensive media/tape management system for enterprise-wide open platform systems. Report Manager & Monitoring: NetVault: Backup is integrated with NetVault: Report Manager, an enhanced reporting and monitoring tool for enterprise-wide deployments of NetVault: Backup.
